Scholarship

Scholarships include Japan Student Services Organization scholarships and scholarships provided by municipalities and private foundations of students. The Student Affairs Section of the Student Affairs Section is the contact point for scholarships of the Japan Student Services Organization.
ご Please note that scholarships may not be received in duplicate with other scholarships. In addition, there are some systems, such as public high school student scholarships, that do not allow students to attend the school, so it is recommended that you check carefully before proceeding.

1. Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship

This is a system in which students who are enrolled in our school, who have excellent personal and academic abilities, are healthy, and who are difficult to enroll for financial reasons, are given below.

(1) Type

Type I scholarship: interest-free (for all students)

Second-class scholarship: with interest up to 3% per year (4.5 years, major student)

(2) Monthly loan (if adopted in 2018)

Type 1 scholarship

1 to 3 years home 21,000 yen outside home 22,500 yen

4, 5 years, major @ home 45,000 yen/outside home 51,000 yen

Second-class scholarship (can also be selected before 2018)

Freely select from 20,000 yen to 120,000 yen in units of 10,000 yen

(3) Lending period

The loan period is determined to be the minimum number of years of enrollment from the time of recruitment, and no loan will be accepted if the student is absent from school, postponed graduation, or stays in the lower grades. In addition, scholarships may be abolished or suspended in case of poor academic performance.

(4) Return method

After 6 months from graduation, the refund will be made by monthly installment or a combination of monthly installment and semi-annual installment. If you are going to a university or graduate school after graduation, you will be deferred during your enrollment by taking the prescribed procedure.

Application documents: Hold a briefing session for applicants and distribute the application documents to participants. (For students who cannot participate on the day, they will be distributed at a later date.)

(6) Emergency recruitment/emergency recruitment

If you need urgent scholarships due to a sudden change in your household's financial status due to a fire, storm or flood disaster, or dismissal, bankruptcy, illness, or separation due to company bankruptcy, etc. It is a system that can do. (7) Scholarship scholar

If you are a new scholar who has been recruited as a scholar at junior high school, please submit "Notice of Advancement/Transfer Account Notification" and "Copies of Notification of Recruitment Candidates" to the Student Affairs Section. (Deadline for FY2019: Tuesday, April 9)
There is no system for appointment scholarship students for college students. For university transfer students, please go to each university to complete the procedures.

2. Other scholarships

There are scholarship programs for local governments and private organizations, and scholarships for companies, but most of them require direct procedures. If you need a school recommendation or have any other inquiries, please contact the Student Affairs Office.

Doshin Wellnet Scholarship

This scholarship was funded by a donation donated by Wellnet Co., Ltd., and was newly established for students of 4 colleges of technology in Hokkaido who are financially in need. This is a scholarship with no obligation to return.

(1) Eligible applicants
Regular and regular students who fall under any of the following

  • Unemployment, bankruptcy, accident, illness, death, disappearance, etc. of household supporters, or sudden changes in household income due to earthquake, storm, flood, fire or other disasters make it difficult to continue studying. , Those who need urgent assistance
  • Due to sudden changes in the home environment, such as divorce of parents, new living expenses have been incurred, and there have been costs such as relocation due to unavoidable reasons such as damage from crime and sudden changes in the living environment. Person
  • Due to unavoidable reasons (including measures such as detention in the original class), we are unable to receive tuition waiver (including tuition assistance) or scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization. Who cannot pay tuition, etc.
  • People who have become more difficult to live due to other unavoidable reasons

(2) Payment conditions etc.

  • Academic achievements do not matter, but students who have a strong will to study and who are eager to live school life.
  • This scholarship is a benefit type and does not need to be returned. However, the scholarship student states that "except for special reasons, he/she will concentrate on his/her studies without part-time work". A written commitment is required.
  • Scholarship students are obliged to express their gratitude to the donor, Wellnet Co., Ltd., and to submit reports on their studies and living conditions at the time of advancement or after the completion of the receiving.

(3) Support content

  • Emergency support
    (1) Necessary lump sums, tuition fees, various payments, living support, etc. for those who fall under the reasons of ①, ② and ④ I will pay the amount.
  • Normal support
    For those who fall under any of the reasons (1) and (3) above, tuition, various payments, living support, etc., according to the student's financial situation. The required amount will be paid. In addition, it will be retroactively paid to those who fall under the requirement to apply for tuition exemption and who have been disapproved.
  • Amount paid
    Each person will pay 500,000 yen per year. However, tuition exemption, subsidy from the school enrollment support system in the country, amount requiring support, etc. Is determined in consideration of the total amount of payment.

(4) How to apply

  • In principle, applications will be accepted through teachers.

  • Withholding slip of the person living in the center or income certificate issued by the mayor
